The work approaches the language of narrative medieval manuscripts and Japanese picture scrolls through film. Tracking macro shots of a panoramic drawing, form a visual journey where time, space and characters intertwine.

A single voice narrates this audio play, a loose soundtrack to Picture Scroll. Set over a year in Berlin, it follows Blockwart—a ghostly ex-Blockleiter, once responsible for enforcing Nazi doctrine, turned modern janitor—who haunts a housing block, meddling with human flaws and sense of lingering guilt.
